Set in Modesto, this world premier is a fictional account of the last days of local resident Mike Prokes. Prokes was a spokesman for the Jones’  People Temple. In 1978 more than 900 followers of Jones died in a mass suicide in their compound in the South American country of Guyana. Prokes, who wasn't there at the time, returns to his hometown to try to come to terms with the course of his life
